All About Annabel

...

Annabel Lee (she/her) is her.

A recent graduate of Duke University (‘26), she was the institution’s first Electrical/Computer Engineering & Theater Studies double major, graduating with highest distinction for her thesis project An Accessible Ecosystem for Intuitive Interactions Between Technology and Performer. The project explored how performers could control technical cues for lighting and sound through wearable sensors and earned her a departmental award for excellence in design. Currently she's interested in experimental theater technology such as wearable lighting, indoor positioning systems, and more expressive alternatives to things like "light cues".

Her skills include a love and proficiency with just about every tool, from welding stingers and impact drivers to oscilloscope probes and soldering irons to sewing machines and laser cutters. She is also a gifted performer with notable experience in clown, puppetry, swing & ballroom dance, as well as over a decade of playing the clarinet.

Her resume can be downloaded from the page button in the header and footer.
